Industry: Space
Skytek's work with ESA and NASA has created electronic manual
and procedural management systems on board the International
Space Station.
Astronauts execute s complex procedures across Space Station
functions using the Skytek developed International Procedure
Viewer (iPV).
The system provides viewing, consultation and execution of Operations Data File (ODF) procedures onboard the International space Station. iPV is vital to the efficient operation of the Station and is the non-commercial version of COReCT.
The iPV sytem provides the following services:
Login: Secure access by user authentication allows iPV to give access to assigned information
Procedure Execution: Step-by-Step walk through of procedures
- Checklist Procedures: Used for sequence based operations
- Logic flow Procedures: Used for complex operations necessitating complex decisions
Virtual Control Panel: Control panels can be embedded in the framework which send and receive telemetry data and telecommands. The user can access the control panel and its related documentation simultaneously
Annotation: The user can add coments to any part of the sytem including procedural steps and control panels
Help: Information about the iPV system and information hierarchy
Reference Documentation: Users can access and consult all reference documentation associated to the flight procedures
Search: Fully text search for documentation
Logging: All user interaction is tracked and logged
Navigator: Intuitive toolbar and menu creates an easy to use interface
Table of Contents: A fully navigational tree hierarchy of all ODF procedures
